With the Announcement enhancement, any admin or leader can create a custom call-to-action within chat to further engage and lead your members to action.
A few highlights:
- Only admins or leaders can create an Announcement Boost.
- You can create an Announcement Boost within any Community or Group chat that you are a leader of. (Must have app version 1.6.8 to create and receive)
- Can be created and engaged with both on app and web.
How to create on app:
- Go to your community or group chat.
- Click the “+” icon.
- Select “Announcement.”
- Fill out the fields.
- Note: The button is optional. If you don’t add an Announcement link or Link Button Text, it will not show a button when you send it.
- Once complete, tap “Continue.”
- You will see a preview of it.
- Only in the app: If you want to make any additional edits, just tap on the Boost within the preview box and it will go into edit mode.
- Note: Once sent, you can not edit the Boost.
- Once ready, press send.
How to create on web:
- Go to your community or group chat.
- Click the “Announcement” icon.
- Fill out the fields.
- Note: The button is optional. If you don’t add an Announcement link or Link Button Text, it will not show a button when you send it.
